- 2023 Rocket 3 R available in three colours
- 2023 Rocket 3 GT listed in two paint options
- Indian launch details unavailable yet
Triumph Motorcycles has revealed the 2023 iterations of its roadster and Rocket series. The updated models feature new paint schemes that give the motorcycles an enhanced look. The 2023 Rocket 3 R and the Rocket 3 GT get two new colour options each. With these updated paint options, the Rocket 3 R is now listed in three colours – Matt Silver Ice, Silver Ice and Cranberry Red, and Sapphire Black. And the Rocket 3 GT is available in two colours – Carnival Red with Sapphire Black and Sapphire Black.
The changes are limited to the updated colour palette. The styling, on the other hand, remains unaltered. Thus, both motorcycles retain the twin-pod headlight, bar-end mirrors, a muscular fuel tank, split-style seats, rear tyre-hugger-mounted numberplate and turn indicators, single-sided swingarm, and wide-profile tyres. The GT version further benefits from touring-focussed equipment such as a flyscreen and pillion backrest.
The mechanical specifications, too, remain unchanged. The engine continues to be the same 2,458cc, inline three-cylinder, liquid-cooled unit producing 165bhp of power at 6,000rpm and a massive 221Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
Triumph Motorcycles India currently offers three variants of the Rocket 3 R and Rocket 3 GT each. The prices range between Rs 19.90 lakh and Rs 21.50 lakh. We expect to see the updated colours in the Indian market, although the launch details are unavailable yet.
