- 2024 C 400 GT unveiled
- Comes in a new Imperial Blue colour
- Remains unchanged mechanically
BMW Motorrad has globally unveiled the 2024 iteration of its 400cc maxi-scooter, the C 400 GT. Similar to most of its stable mates, the scooter has just received a new colour option for 2024 while remaining unaltered mechanically.
The C 400 GT was previously available only in two colour options - Style Triple Black and Alpine White. Now, a new paint scheme has joined the palette which goes by the name Imperial Blue. As the name suggests, the entire bodywork of the new trim is dipped in dark blue colour. And instead of fancy decals, all it features is a ‘C400GT’ badge on the under-seat panel and the BMW logo on the front apron. The bulbous and imposing styling of the scooter has remained unchanged.
Complementing the in-your-face aesthetics of the C 400 GT is a long list of modern features comprising full-LED lighting and a Bluetooth-enabled 6.5-inch full-colour TFT screen. Plus, there are two glove compartments, a flex case under the single-section seat, and a keyless ignition system.
As for the engine, propelling the scooter is a 350cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 33.5bhp at 7,500rpm and 35Nm at 5,750rpm, and comes linked to a CVT gearbox. The hardware package comprises a tubular steel frame, telescopic forks, and two spring struts at the back. The braking duties are performed by twin discs at the front and a single rotor at the rear while the safety net includes ABS.
At present, the BMW C 400 GT is priced at Rs 11.25 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. With the introduction of the 2024 edition, this price may witness an insignificant increment.
