- 2024 G 310 R unveiled in two new colours
- Remains unchanged mechanically
- India launch could take place later this year
BMW Motorrad has globally unveiled the 2024 iteration of its smallest roadster, the G 310 R. While the motorcycle has remained the same on the mechanical front, it has received new visual treatment in the form of two new colour options.
One of these trims boasts a more understated combination of black and grey bodywork along with a few dashes of red on the headlamp, fuel tank section, and tail. It also gets a red trellis frame and alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the other paint scheme looks swankier with white and blue body panels accompanied by subtle streaks of red. As for the wheels and frame, they are finished in red on this colour scheme as well.
In terms of engine specifications, cycle parts, and features, the 2024 G 310 R has been left untouched. It continues to be powered by a 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 33.5bhp at 9,250rpm and 28Nm at 7,500rpm. This unit comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with USD forks and a monoshock. The stopping power comes from a single disc at both ends along with dual-channel ABS. Feature-wise, the bike is quite basic with full-LED lighting, a digital console that misses out on Bluetooth, a USB charging port, and a slipper clutch.
We expect the 2024 BMW G 310 R to be launched in India before the end of this year. As for the pricing, it won’t witness a huge increment since the hardware package hasn’t seen any changes. The prices of the existing model start from Rs 2.85 lakh (ex-showroom).
