- Receives new Black on Black livery
- Now available in two paint options
- India launch likely next year
Ducati has updated its Panigale V2supersport motorcycle with the addition of a new livery. The colour palette, which previously included the classic Ducati Red theme, has now been updated with the addition of Black on Black livery. This new paint theme includes a dark matte grey paint that is further enhanced with the use of glossy black elements. The livery is completed by the Panigale V2 logo and the red details on the tank, fairings, and wheels.
Meanwhile, the design remains unchanged, and the Panigale V2 retains a Panigale V4-inspired styling that includes a twin-pod headlight, a double-layer fairing, a step-up seat, a compact exhaust canister, and a single-sided swingarm. The mechanical specifications, too, retain the 955cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that complies with the Euro 5 emission norms. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, this motor delivers 152.8bhp at 10,750rpm and 104Nm of peak torque at 9,000rpm.
Additionally, the comprehensive electronic rider aids work with a six-axis inertial platform. They include cornering ABS, a traction control system, wheelie control, a quick-shifter, and an engine brake control. Ducati will offer a wide range of accessories for this motorcycle, which will be available via the 'Configurator' section of the company’s website.
