- Gets two new paint themes
- No changes to the design or specifications
- India launch details unavailable yet
Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled the 2024 iteration of the Speed Twin 1200 for the international markets. This performance classic motorcycle will arrive in the Indian market as well. However, the official launch details for our market are not available yet.
For 2024, Triumph Motorcycles has updated the colour palette of this motorcycle, and it gains two new paint themes. These include the new Carnival Red with Storm Grey option and a contemporary Matte Ironstone with Matte Storm Grey theme. These new colours join the Jet Black scheme. Meanwhile, the styling remains unaltered, and the 2024 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 retains a round headlight, a tear-drop-shaped fuel tank, bar-end mirrors, a flat seat, and twin-sided exhaust.
The mechanical specifications and hardware, too, remain unaltered. Thus, the 2024 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 continues to use a 1,200cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine with a 270-degree crank angle that makes a maximum output and peak torque of 98.6bhp at 7,250rpm and 112Nm at 4,250rpm, respectively.
The hardware on this motorcycle comprises a tubular steel frame, twin-sided aluminium swingarm, 43mm upside-down Marzocchi front forks, and preload-adjustable twin rear springs. Then, the braking setup includes twin 320mm discs with Brembo M50 four-piston radial monobloc callipers at the front and a single 220mm rotor with Nissin two-piston floating calliper at the back.
The current Speed Twin 1200 is available from Rs. 11.09 lakh (ex-showroom, India) onwards. Since the changes to the 2024 model are limited to the revised colour palette, we do not expect to see a major change in the pricing.
