- 2021 QJ Chase 350 updated for 2021
- Gets a front fascia and colour scheme
- Benelli will launch the nearly-identical 302S in India
QJMotors, Benelli’s partner in China, has revealed the 2021 QJ350-13 naked street bike that is also called the Chase 350. Interestingly, this motorcycle is likely to be the base of the Benelli 302S that will be launched in India in the future.
The new version of the street bike sports a redesigned front end with an oval-shaped headlamp and a small flyscreen on top. The rest of the body work remains the same. The Chase 350 incorporates a sculpted fuel tank with sharp extensions that blend with a floating, raked tail section accommodating a split seat. The aggressive design is further accentuated by the fluorescent paint job on the trellis frame and wheel rim takes.
The engine of the Chase 350 has remained unaltered. This 353cc, parallel-twin motor produces 36.2bhp of power at 9,000rpm and 31Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm. Similarly, the cycle parts have also remained unchanged and it continues to be suspended by inverted forks and a monoshock while petal-type twin discs up front and a single disc at the rear handle braking. If you remember the smallest 350cc Harley-Davidson that’ll be launched in select markets in the future, that bike will be based on this same platform.
The Indian market won’t get the stunning Chase 350 by QJMotors. Instead, the country will receive the Benelli 302S that will be equipped with the same hardware package but perhaps with different styling.
