- 2021 Benelli TNT 600 launched in China
- Gets revised styling
- Is likely to be launched in India later this year
Benelli’s parent company, QJ Motors has updated the SRK 600 for 2021. This motorcycle also called the Chase 600 is re-badged and sold as the Benelli TNT 600 in various markets. And since Benelli is expected to launch the TNT 600 in India later this year, it could come with similar updates. As part of the 2021 update, the TNT 600 gets a new front fascia; skipping the 2020 model’s Kawasaki Z1000-like front end for a circular, full-LED headlamp setup. However, the rest of the motorcycle remains the same.
It is powered by a 600cc, inline-four cylinder motor fitted under a trellis frame. This motor is capable of churning out 81.5bhp and 55Nm and works in tandem with a six-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. The 2021 Benelli TNT 600 is also decently equipped with Brembo brake and KYB-sourced suspension. Moreover, the motorcycle also comes with a colour-TFT dash.
Now, Benelli has been bullish about its pricing in India lately and we can expect it to do the same when launching the 2021 TNT 600 in the country. If launched under Rs 7 lakh, the Benelli TNT 600 will reclaim its title of being the most affordable inline-four powered motorcycle in India. It will compete against the Kawasaki Z650 and the Triumph Trident 660 here.
