Triumph has unveiled the updated Tiger 800 at the EICMA. The bike gets a host of upgrades and is expected to arrive on Indian shores sometime next year. Here is the photo gallery of the top-of-the-line Triumph Tiger XC.
The Triumph Tiger 800 XC is the most off-road focused motorcycle.
The bike now features LED headlamps, newly-designed tank side panels along with a five-way adjustable windscreen.
It sports a 5-inch TFT instrument console, controlled via handlebar-mounted switches and toggles.
The Tiger’s 800cc in-line three-cylinder engine is updated for 2018 and gets a shorter first-gear ratio and a lighter exhaust system.
It features an updated cruise control system, six riding modes and an ‘Off-Road Pro’ mode that turns off traction control.
Braking on the XC is taken care of by Brembo calipers upfront with ABS offered as standard.
Suspension on the Triumph Tiger 800 XC variant comes from WP for both ends.
The manufacturer will reveal the prices for international markets in a month’s time and we expect the bike to arrive in India early next year.
