- New BMW G 310 R on sale in Europe
- Same as India-spec model
- Powered by a 313cc, single-cylinder engine
BMW Motorrad has launched the 2021 G 310 R in Europe. It has been priced at GBP 4875 (approximately Rs 4.81 lakh). And for those not in the know, the G 310 R is manufactured in India by TVS at the Hosur plant and exported to international markets.
The 2021 G 310 R sold in European markets is the same as the India-spec model. As part of the update, BMW revised the styling with a full-LED headlamp, slightly sharper tank shrouds and new paint schemes. The motorcycle also gets adjustable clutch and brake levers, ride-by-wire throttle and a slipper clutch as standard. It continues to be powered by the same 313cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 34bhp at 9,500rpm and 28Nm at 7,000rpm.
Interestingly, the new G 310 R costs a premium over the previous model in Europe. However, in India, the price of the motorcycle was reduced by Rs 54,000 to Rs 2.45 lakh (ex-showroom).
