- Honda CB350 RS named as GB350 S in Japan
- To make its way to dealers next month
- Gets different colours
Honda had introduced the CB350 RS in Japan earlier this year and named it the GB350 S there. Now, the motorcycle, which is made in India, is scheduled to arrive at dealerships in the East Asian country in July.
The CB350 RS or GB350 S is priced at 594,000 yen which converts to Rs 3.98 lakh and differs slightly from the model sold in India. The Japanese-spec gets two distinct colours- Pearl Deep Grey and Gunmetal Black Metallic as compared to the Indian-spec which is offered in Radiant Red Metallic and a dual-tone colour that comprises of black and Pearl Sports Yellow. Moreover, it also sports premium Metzeler Tourance Next tyres instead of the MRF Zappers available on the CB350 RS here.
Nevertheless, the rest of the motorcycle remains the same. It comes with a 348cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that churns out 20.7bhp and 30Nm. The GB350 S also gets a semi-digital instrument cluster, Selectable Torque Control system, and dual-channel ABS like the standard GB350 (H’ness CB350). There also is full-LED lighting and hazard lights as standard. However, as compared to the H’ness CB350, the CB350 RS is around 2kg lighter than the H’ness CB350 thanks to the use of fibre fenders.
