- Top-of-the-line Bagger model
- To be available in limited numbers
- Bookings open for a token amount of Rs 5 lakh
The Indian Chieftain Elite will be launched with a price tag of Rs 39 lakh (ex-showroom). The limited edition motorcycle will go on sale in India on August 12.
The Chieftain Elite has been produced in limited run of 350 units, of which just a handful of motorcycles has been allocated for the Indian audience. To set it apart, the Chieftain Elite gets a unique custom paint job which takes over 25 hours to complete by hand. As each motorcycle has been hand painted, no two Chieftain Elite motorcycles are alike. It also gets flared fenders with unique ten-spoke wheels, 200-watt audio system, premium leather seat, aluminium billet floorboards, chrome mirrors and a tinted windscreen.
With the price tag of Rs 39 lakh, the Chieftain Elite will be the most expensive motorcycle in Indian’s Bagger range of motorcycles. Nevertheless, it will still be more affordable than the Roadmaster from the Touring range. Bookings are open for a token amount of Rs 5 lakh. It will compete against the Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special, Honda Goldwing GL1800 and the BMW K 1600 B.
