Indian Motorcycle recently launched their limited-edition motorcycle, the Chieftain Elite in India at a price of Rs 38 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). With a similar budget, you can take a look at seven other motorcycles. Here’s the list-.
Indian Motorcycle also offers three other motorcycles that are priced similarly. There is the Roadmaster at Rs 40.38 lakhs and a more classic version of the same, the Roadmaster Classic which retails at Rs 37.68 lakhs.
Also available is the Indian Springfield that carries a price tag of Rs 33.83 lakhs. All four motorcycles are powered by the same 1811cc 'Thunderstroke 111' V-twin engine that puts out 161.6Nm of torque. Indian Motorcycles's biggest rival, Harley-Davidson too has a motorcycle in this price range. The Road Glide Special is priced at Rs 32.99 lakhs. It uses the 1745cc 'Milwaukee Eight 107' V-twin engine. This unit is rated at 151Nm of torque.
If you want something more aggressive and track focused, the market has two offerings around the price of the Indian Chieftain Elite. There is the MV Agusta F4 RR at Rs 36.53 lakhs. The bike is powered by a 998cc, inline-four cylinder motor that produces 192bhp and 110Nm of torque. Then there is the Kawasaki Ninja H2 which carries a price tag of Rs 33.30 lakhs. It also uses a 998cc, inline-four engine, although this unit is supercharged and produces a whopping 197bhp and 134Nm of torque.
