Indian Motorcycle has inaugurated their first touch point in North East India in Guwahati, Assam. Called the ‘Indian Motorcycle Riders Stop’, it is also the first such facility for the manufacturer in the country.
The facility is located at Precision Powersports, House No. 7, Pankaj Nagar Hatigaon Road. The IMRS is a sub-dealership that will provide test rides, after sales support and will also accept bookings. It will also retail Indian Motorcycle accessories and apparel.
The IMRS is part of the manufacturer’s expansion plans in India which currently has 10 dealerships across the country. With the opening of this facility, Indian Motorcycles aims to increase their presence in the country and plans on following suit with other cities as well.
The American manufacturer recently dropped prices of its entire range by up to Rs 3 lakhs. The move is a result of the reduced duties applicable on CBU motorcycles from 75 per cent to 50 per cent.
