Polaris India Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Polaris Industries Inc., launched the all-new 2016 Indian Scout Sixty in Hyderabad at its dealership, Mahavir Deccan Auto Pvt. Ltd.
The all-new 2016 Indian Scout Sixty is the latest addition to the Indian Scout line-up, it shares many elements with the more expensive Scout. With an expected price of Rs 12.21 lakh (ex-showroom Hyderabad) the Scout Sixty comes at a price which is within the reach of the individuals who want to experience the motorcycle and the brand for the first time.
The American company says that the new bike sticks to the craftsmanship, reliability and legendary agility of the Indian Scout and that it shares the identical chassis, suspension, brakes and core engine. This engine is the all-new 60 cubic inch engine. Mated to a five-speed transmission it makes 77bhp and peak torque of 88.8Nm at 5800rpm.

The low seat height of just 25.3 inches allows for sure-footed comfort at stops and is also beneficial for shorter riders. A series of accessories including seats, handlebars and foot peg re-locators allow the motorcycle to be tailored to fit each rider, while additional accessories include saddlebags, laced front and rear wheels and quick-release windscreens.
The Indian Scout Sixty will be available in colours - thunder black, Indian Motorcycle red and pearl white colour. The entire Indian Motorcycle range is available across showrooms in India at Gurgaon, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Cochin (Coming Soon) and Kolkata (Coming Soon).
