Polaris has updated its line-up of Indian Motorcycles with new paint schemes, as a part of the updates for 2016. Five motorcycles from its range of cruisers will now be available in a host of new paint schemes in the US market, and we expect the same to be offered in India in the next few weeks.
The Chief Classic will be available in pearl white and also gets updates like a new vinyl seat, black switchgear and cast aluminium wheels. The old-school Chief Vintage star gets a new silver and thunder black shade while the top of the line Chief model – the Chieftain will be available in a silver smoke paint scheme. The Indian Roadmaster, which is a faired luxury cruiser, will now be available in three new paint schemes - storm grey and thunder black, blue diamond and springfield blue ivory cream. The entry-level Indian Scout on the other hand, gets a new wildfire red paint scheme, apart from the existing ones.
As the Indian Motorcycles are sold here as completely built units, we can safely assume these new updates to make it to Indian shores in a few weeks’ time. Indian Motorcycles’ portfolio consists of six motorcycles – the Scout, Chief Dark Horse, Chief Classic, Chief Vintage, Chieftain and the Roadmaster. The range starts at Rs 11.99 lakh for the Scout, going all the way up to Rs 34.95 lakh for the flagship Roadmaster (both ex-showroom, Delhi)
