Polaris has rolled out the special edition Indian Jack Daniel’s Chieftain. Built in association with US-based custom house, Klock Werks Kustom Cycles, the Jack Daniel’s Chieftain is being produced in a limited run of just 100 units.
The elegant black and white paint job has been specially designed for the Jack Daniel’s Chieftain. The bike also gets commemorative ‘Old No 7’ badges and a handcrafted barrel wood badge with an American flag, owner’s name and the motorcycle’s serial number. The Jack Daniel’s Chieftain is powered by the traditional 1811 cc ‘Thunder-Stroke’ V-twin engine. Delivering 139 Nm of torque, this engine is mated to a six-speed transmission. An optional Big Sucker air intake and a slip-on exhaust system improve performance and the exhaust note.
However, this fancy paint scheme and exclusivity come at a price. The Jack Daniel’s Chieftain is priced at GBP 33,799 (Rs 26.9 lakh), which makes it Rs 9.63 lakh pricier than a standard Chieftain. Even if you are willing to shell out a fortune for the Jack Daniel’s Chieftain, customers in India won’t be able to lay their hands on this motorcycle as the company hasn’t allocated any units for the Indian market.
