- Indian Scout Bobber Twenty and Scout Anniversary unveiled
- Both get cosmetic updates
- 2020 Scout range also gets mechanical changes
Indian Motorcycles has revealed the Scout Bobber Twenty and the Scout Anniversary for international markets.
Both motorcycles are based on the standard Scout although with cosmetic changes to set them apart. The Bobber Twenty loses on the pillion seat for a brown-leather finished ‘floating seat’. It also gets wire-spoke wheels, blacked-out exhaust ends and ape-handlebars complete with upside-down bar-end mirrors. Indian Motorcycles is offering the bike in three colour options of black, metallic red and matte forest green.
On the other hand, the Scout 100th Anniversary is a limited-edition model with only 750 units to be produced. It is painted in a dark red paint with gold highlights and pinstripes and also gets ‘100th Anniversary’ badging, tan leather floating seat, black spoke wheels, a new handlebar, a luggage rack and loads of chrome.
Apart from these changes the bikes remain the same and come powered by a 1133cc, V-Twin engine that produces 94bhp and 97Nm of torque. Moreover, Indian has also upgraded 2020 Scout range which includes the Scout Sixty and standard Scout with new front callipers, new master cylinder and floating discs. The bikes also get a new pair of tyres sourced from Pirelli.
While the 2020 Scout range, Scout Bobber Twenty and the Scout 100th Anniversary are currently available in international markets, we can expect it to be launched in India by the end of 2019 or early next year.
