The legendary Indian Motorcycles has just unveiled their new motorcycle, the 2018 Scout Bobber. This all-blacked out motorcycle is built on the same chassis as the older Scout.
The Scout Bobber rides on fat Kenda tyres that bring out the authentic Bobber styling. Other features like bar-end mirrors, chopped-front fender and side-mounted licence plate enhance the overall look. The bike gets a two-tone seat and LED tail and turn lamps as well. The Bobber’s rear suspension has been dropped an inch to go with the overall design. However, the seat height has been increased to 650mm.
Up front, the Scout Bobber is equipped with a new cartridge-type fork with 119mm of travel. In terms of the overall ergonomics, the Bobber gets a more aggressive riding position. The footpegs were moved 1.5 inches closer to the rider, and the dirt-tracker handlebar positions the rider farther forward. The Scout Bobber gets the same 1133cc water-cooled engine as the standard Scout. This motor churns out 94hp and 97Nm of peak torque.
