-Upcoming cruiser to be named Raptor
-To be powered by a 1770cc, V-twin engine
-Likely to be revealed in the next few months
Indian Motorcycles was recently caught testing a cruiser motorcycle. Now, a leaked brochure reveals that it will be named ‘Raptor’.
The brochure also confirms reports suggesting the motorcycle’s engine displacement. It will be powered by a new 1770cc, liquid-cooled V-twin engine that generates 120bhp. Furthermore, the leaked brochure also reveals the design of the Raptor which is unlike any other cruiser that Indian Motorcycles offers today.
The Raptor seems to follow a custom bagger design language. It gets a lowered look thanks to the long exhaust that ends just behind the stretched-out saddlebags. The Indian Raptor also sports a fixed frame mounted ‘batwing’ fairing and sweptback handlebars along with a few blacked-out components to complete its look.
Listed as a 2020 model, we can expect Indian Motorcycles to reveal the Raptor by the end of this year and compete against the Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special. The Indian Raptor is also likely to make its way to India sometime next year.
