When Indian Motorcycles launched the Scout, its global sales increased exponentially as it hit the market with the right product at the right price. And now, the American manufacturer unveiled its more affordable version – the Scout Sixty which will cater to the lower spectrum of the premium cruiser segment. We bring you a detailed picture gallery of the new Indian Scout Sixty.
Cosmetically, the Scout Sixty is very identical to the Scout. Both bikes also share the same chassis, suspensions and brakes.
In terms of styling, Indian has reduced the chrome usage on the Scout Sixty. This has been done to keep cost in check.
Indian has reduced the displacement from 1133cc to 999cc for this bike. It generates 78bhp, almost 12 less from its bigger sibling - the Scout. This engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The seat height of the Scout Sixty stands at 642mm, just like the Scout. This makes it easily accessible to shorter riders, who want to have a cruiser in their garage.
The Indian arm of the American manufacturer will launch the Scout Sixty in the next couple of months as a completely-built-up(CBU) unit, with a very competitive price.
The Indian Scout Sixty is available is three colours – thunder black, red and peal white.
