Indian Motorcycles is gearing up to launch new variants of the Chieftain and the Roadmaster.
The company has recently filed documents with the California Air Resources Board (CARB). These documents contains the names of three new Indian bikes along with the current line-up. The new bikes in question are the Chieftain Elite, the Chieftain Limited and the Roadmaster Classic. While the document says that these new bikes get the same 1811cc V-Twin, it doesn't say anything about its features or design.
We are expecting the American manufacturer to equip these cruisers with new features, redesign them and offer a host of accessories. There are a few reports which talks about the increase in power, however, there are no concrete details on these yet.
We are expecting Indian Motorcycles to unveil these bikes in the next few weeks. Once launched, these will comnpete with the CVO range of Harley-Davidson. The Indian market will get the new Indians as well, but expect them to cost a fortune.
