-Fourth collaboration between the two companies
-Bike is limited to 177 units worldwide
-Sports exclusive paint job and a new 1,890cc engine
Indian Motorcycles has collaborated with liquor manufacturer Jack Daniel’s to launch the Springfield Dark Horse Jack Daniel’s edition. This marks the fourth collaboration between the two manufacturers.
The Springfield Dark Horse Jack Daniel’s edition is an exclusive offering limited to just 177 units worldwide. The number is a nod to the “Old No. 7 Brand”. To support its limited-edition tag, the Springfield Dark Horse comes in a unique grey and black colour scheme with a ‘wood grain finish’. Indian has also generously adorned the bike with Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Select logo all over. The Jack Daniel’s Indian Springfield Dark Horse sports a numbered badge on the air-filter box.
It also gets custom wheels, a quick-release tinted visor in front of the ape-handlebars and LED lighting throughout. And since the bike marks the fourth consecutive year of collaboration, each motorcycle comes with a wooden Jack Daniels Single Barrel bottle display engraved with the owners name, motorcycle number and VIN.
While the bike is special on the exterior, Indian Motorcycles has gone a step ahead and equipped it with a brand new 1890cc, V-twin that produces 167Nm of torque. The manufacturer hasn’t quoted a price on the limited-edition motorcycle yet, although it would undoubtedly cost a heavy premium. Now the most important question, will it come to India? As much as we would love to see it, Indian Motorcycles is unlikely to launch the Springfield Dark Horse Jack Daniel’s edition here, and focus mainly on American and European markets.
