Given that personalisation forms a big part of a classic motorcycle's appeal, Triumph had launched the new Bonneville range with several pre-customised kits, called Inspiration kits. A majority of Triumph customers in India have been opting to go for these Inspiration kits for the Street Twin, making them a popular starting point for those looking to customise their bikes.
The Street Twin is available with three Inspiration kits – Brat Tracker, Scrambler and Urban. Among these, the scrambler has turned out to the favourite among customers, thanks to its distinct look and its connection to the Jurassic World movie. It comes with a raised Vance & Hines exhaust system, brown ribbed bench seat, compact rear light, compact LED indicators, brown ‘barrel style’ handlebar grips and brushed aluminium sump guard.
The Brat Tracker kit also gets all the above mentioned upgrades, though the exhaust system gets conventional looking brushed Vance & Hines slip-on silencers. The Urban kit gives the Street Twin a cafe racer look, thanks to the short tinted fly-screen, lowered clip-on handlebar, signature single waxed cotton and leather pannier, compact LED indicators and brushed Vance & Hines slip-on silencers.
Among those customers who prefer to maintain the stock look, the exhaust and crash protectors have turned out to be popular upgrades. While Triumph doesn't stock these accessories, the parts can be procured from Hinckley once customers have placed an order for these.
