Triumph Motorcyles has revealed the 2019 version of the Street Scrambler at the ongoing Intermot Show in Germany. The 2019 edition gets a host of mechanical and cosmetic upgrades.
The Street Scrambler now gets 18 per cent boost in peak power taking its overall power output to 64bhp which arrives at 7500rpm. The maximum torque of 80Nm kicks in at 3200rpm. The bike is now equipped with new Brembo four-piston calipers and a higher calibre of cartridge fork. It also gets new number plate panels and graphics, new seat cover finish and wider space forks for better adventure look.
In terms of technology update, the 2019 edition gets two new riding modes, Road and Rain. The tyre pressure monitoring system is now being offered as an optional extra. Other things like switchable traction control, ABS are carried forward from the older model.
The sales for this Triumph will begin in the next few months. For India, the bike is likely to arrive early next year and will replace the current Street Scrambler. Expect a slight increase in price due to the new updates.
