A few days ago Suzuki revealed an image of the GSX, their new concept bike. The image was a mixture of clay and CGI, but now Young Machine has released a rendering of a bike which they claim to be the new Suzuki Hayabusa.
They also claim that this new supersport machine will be powered by a new 1500c engine that will help the Japanese manufacturer take on the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R. However, these are just speculations and nothing concrete has been released by Suzuki yet. We believe that the GSX Concept image that was shown previously, is the base image of the 2016 GSXR1000. Also, 2016 will mark the 30th anniversary of the legendary GSX-R.
This is what Suzuki has to say about the GSX concept. “Suzuki’s powerful, rider-friendly inline-four engines deliver an outstanding combination of fuel economy and endurance. Their technologies are reflected in numerous GSX-series models including the GSX-R1000, the Hayabusa, and the GSX-S1000. The concept GSX symboliszes the high-performance bikes that bear the GSX name. It gives form to Suzuki’s inline-four sportsbike-making spirit and evokes a cocoon from which the company’s future sportsbike models will be born.”
There have been many rumours that Suzuki will bring in some exciting products at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. We are eagerly waiting for it.
