- Spotted testing overseas
- Equipped with a round headlight instead of the bug-eye-shaped unit
- Could be launched in 2026
The upcoming Triumph Street Triple has been spotted testing overseas. These spy shots show a test bike that looks slightly different from the current Street Triple in terms of styling. The test bike is seen here sporting a round LED headlight instead of a split bug-eye-shaped unit that has been the signature piece for the Street Triple in recent years. So, either Triumph is eyeing a major design change or it could be limited to just testing purposes.
But other bits like the fuel tank, the pillion seat with the footpegs, and the underbelly exhaust indicate that this is most likely a Street Triple test bike. It seems to be equipped with Pirelli tyres just like the current RS model. Moreover, the frame appears to be new and has mounting points for a fairing too.
On a closer look, we also noticed that the instrument console is slightly tilted and placed further away from the handlebar towards the headlight. This could be done to accommodate the bodywork around it and offer slightly more room for the rider to tuck in.
Currently, the Triumph Street Triple uses a 765cc, inline-three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. It makes 128.2bhp at 12,000rpm and a peak torque of 80Nm at 9,500rpm for the RS variant. The bike comes loaded with electronics like a quickshifter, cornering ABS, a lean-sensitive traction control system, wheelie control and more.
This test mule appears in its early stages of testing and maybe the British marquee could debut its updated middleweight offering by 2026.
