Electric two-wheeler brand, iVOOMi Energy has updated its portfolio with the launch of new variants of the S1 series.
Christened as the S1 80, S1 200, and S1 240, these electric scooters have received updates and they now pack a longer range. The prices for these models start from Rs 69,999 and go up to Rs 1,21,000. Further, the updated S1 series is available in three colours – Peacock Blue, Night Maroon, and Dusky Black. Meanwhile, the company has retained the previous S1 model and it is available for Rs 85,000.
The S1 240 packs the longest range and is equipped with twin batteries. The dual battery setup helps this variant deliver a claimed range of 240km (IDC). Meanwhile, the relatively budget-friendly S1 80 gets lower-spec hardware. This includes a 1.5kWh battery pack that is claimed to deliver an IDC range of 80km.
Further, all models under the S1 series get three riding modes – Eco, Rider, and Sport. The portfolio expansion was done in accordance with the company's agenda of adding value to the lives and demands of consumers. The feature list also includes the 'find my ride' function and a GPS tracker and monitoring system.
The S1 series of electric two-wheelers will be available to customers from December 1st, 2022 onwards. In other updates, the company plans to expand its footprint in the southern Indian region and make all of its models available there by the end of 2022.
