Oshiro, a Tokyo based two Wheeler Company is setting up its operations in India and will soon be launching its range of motorcycles and scooters here. The company is planning to enter the Indian two wheeler industry with 100-150cc motorcycles and scooters with 125-150cc engines.
The company is currently constructing a manufacturing plant in Satara. Oshiro plans to manufacture all the parts locally and do not intend to import anything and competitively price the products. The company claims that the Indian customers will experience many services and benefits for the first time through their products.
Oshiro is currently looking out for dealers across India and the production will start once the construction is complete. We need to wait and see how good the products will be and whether they will make any dent in sales of any major players like Hero MotoCorp or HMSI.
