- Gets a new Mystique Orange paint scheme
- Features a new 334cc, liquid-cooled motor
Classic Legends recently launched the updated Jawa 350 in India, which gets a new engine and replaces the Jawa Standard. The motorcycle is available in three colour options, which include a new Mystique Orange paint scheme along with the existing Maroon and Black shades.
The Jawa 350 is a heavily reworked version of the Jawa Standard and is priced at Rs. 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom). The most significant change comes in the form of an updated 334cc, liquid-cooled motor that replaces the older 294cc engine. The single-cylinder motor produces 22bhp at 7,000rpm and a peak torque of 28.1Nm at 5,000rpm. This engine comes linked to a six-speed gearbox along with an assist and slipper clutch.
Although the overall silhouette of the Jawa 350 looks identical to the Jawa Standard, the motorcycle gets subtle changes that make it look burly. It gets wider tyres, bigger fenders and a thicker and more accommodating seat. Even the dimensions have gone up significantly as the Jawa 350 gets a best-in-class ground clearance of 178mm. While the seat height measures 790mm, the kerb weight has gone up from 182kg to 194kg.
The Jawa 350 competes against the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Honda CB35, and the Harley-Davidson X440.
