Jawa Motorcycles’ latest launch in India was the 350. It is the replacement for the previously available Classic. Moreover, the new Jawa 350 has brought in some essential updates, and here are the five highlights of the updated model.
Design
The new Jawa 350 looks identical to its predecessor. It features the same bullet-shaped headlight unit, long fenders, chrome finishing on the fuel tank, and dual pea-shooter exhaust. Even the pin-stripe on the tank and the rear fender are the same as before. The seat seems to have been slightly tweaked and appears to be the only visible change. You can purchase the new Jawa 350 in three paint schemes – Mystique Orange, maroon, and black.
Features
Jawa has equipped the new 350 with bulb illumination, side stand sensor, and single/dual-channel ABS. The overall features list on the new Jawa bike continues to be short, just like before.
Engine
The new engine is the highlight of the Jawa 350. It is a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor and belts out 22bhp and 28.2Nm. The setup also gets a slip-and-assist clutch for added convenience. The previous model used a smaller 294.72cc motor.
Hardware
Jawa has equipped the 350 with a new dual-cradle chassis suspended on telescopic front forks and a five-step adjustable rear spring. Then, the brakes comprise a 280mm front and 240mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. These are linked to an 18-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheel wrapped in 100/90 front and 130/80 rear tyres.
Price
The asking price for the new Jawa 350 is Rs. 2,14,950 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes it Rs. 12,000 more expensive than the older Jawa Classic.
