- Gets chrome fuel tank and blacked-out components
- Diamond-cut alloy wheels also included
JawaYezdi Motorcycles has spruced up its portfolio by launching a new colour variant of the 42 Bobber. It’s called the Black Mirror and costs Rs. 2.25 lakh, ex-showroom, which makes it around Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000 more expensive than the existing colour variants.
The new Black Mirror edition of the 42 Bobber undoubtedly looks stunning, at least in pictures. The dazzling chrome-finished fuel tank looks eye-catchy with the contrasting full-black treatment for the rest of its bodywork. Moreover, unlike the presence of spoke wheels on other trims, the Black Mirror boasts diamond-cut alloy wheels which not only lend it a factory-custom look but also bring in the convenience of tubeless tyres.
Alongside the visual treatment, Jawa has retained the subtle engine internal alterations in the Black Mirror that were introduced in other variants in May this year. The size of the throttle bodies has been upped from 33mm to 38mm while the idling RPM has been lowered from 1,500 to 1,300rpm. Other changes over the older model include an updated fuel map and redesigned gear and engine covers. The bike is powered by a 334cc, liquid-cooled engine that produces 29bhp and 32.7Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. It also gets an assist and slipper clutch, an adjustable seat, a charging port, a digital console and LED lighting.
The Jawa 42 Bobber is also available in Mystic Copper, Moonstone White, and Jasper Red colours that are priced between Rs. 2.12 lakh to Rs. 2.15 lakh, ex-showroom.
