Jawa recently added the new 42 Bobber to its India line-up. Although it bears the '42' prefix in its name, it is mainly based on the bigger Perak. Now, since the bike's styling is its main highlight, let's take a detailed look at it in this image gallery.
The design of the 42 Bobber closely resembles the Perak but the former boasts some elements which make it stand out.
The 42 Bobber incorporates a smaller headlamp unit, a relatively modern digital console, and a different fuel tank, and comes in a fresh set of colour options.
Jawa has introduced the 42 Bobber in three paint schemes, including Mystic Copper, Moonstone White, and Jasper Red (dual tone).
Despite its pure vintage looks, the bike gets reasonably modern features like full-LED lighting, digital console, a USB charging port, and a dual-channel ABS setup.
Propelling the Bobber is the Perak-sourced 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 30.2bhp and 32.74Nm of peak torque.
Another interesting feature of the 42 Bobber is that its seat can be adjusted back and forth by 25mm. Also, the footpeg position and handlebar are different from the Perak.
The prices of the Jawa 42 Bobber start from Rs 2.06 lakh and go up to Rs 2.09 lakh (ex-showroom) depending on the colour option.
