The Jawa 42 FJ recently made its debut as the latest offering from the brand. The 42 FJ is Jawa’s second motorcycle based on the revised 350 platform. It uses the new 350cc motor that we have experienced in the Jawa 350. You can purchase the Jawa 42 FJ in two variants and here is what they have to offer.
Spoke Wheels
This is the most affordable base variant of the Jawa 42 FJ. It gets spoke wheels with tubed tyres and is available in one paint scheme only – Aurora Green Matte. The asking price for the Jawa 42 FJ spoke wheels is set at Rs. 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Alloy Wheels
Jawa offers the 42 FJ with alloy wheels wrapped in tubeless tyres as well. This is the top-spec model and can be purchased in as many as five colours – Aurora Green Matte, Mystique Copper, Cosmo Blue Matte, Deep Black/Matte Black Clad and Deep Black/Matte Red Clad. The asking price for the 42 FJ alloy wheels starts at Rs. 2.10 lakh and goes up to Rs. 2.20 lakh (both ex-showroom, Delhi).
Apart from the hardware, both 42 FJ variants use the same engine, get the same features, and the overall design as well. It packs a 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that belts out 28.7bhp and 29.62Nm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
Jawa has also employed features like LED illumination, and a fully digital console along with smartphone connectivity, a USB charging port, and dual-channel ABS as well. The Jawa 42 FJ rivals the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Hunter 350, and the Honda CB350RS.
