Classic Legends, a subsidiary of Mahindra, recently revived the Jawa brand in India by launching two motorcycles – Jawa and Forty Two. While the deliveries of the bikes are set to commence in six months, the company announced its exchange scheme and finance tie-ups for the customers.
Under the two-wheeler exchange program, customers will be able to get a Jawa motorcycle in exchange of their used two-wheeler. Although there’s no restriction on the type of motorcycle which can be exchanged for a Jawa, the company is expecting bikes in the range of 150cc to 250cc engine capacity. To be handled by Mahindra First Choice Wheels, the exchange scheme will be available at all the Jawa dealerships across India. The company has setup dealerships in Pune and Bangalore and plans to have over 100 showrooms in our country.
Classic Legends also announced its tie-ups with finance companies for providing various finance options to the Jawa customers. The national level partners include HDFC Bank, Tata Capital, ICICI Bank, Mahindra Finance, IDFC Bank, L&T Finance and Hinduja Leyland. Moreover, it will also have tie-up with regional finance companies.
Jawa has two models in its portfolio including the standard and Forty Two that are priced at Rs 1.55 lakhs and Rs 1.64 lakhs (both prices are ex-showroom), respectively. It will also launch the Perak bobber sometime next year.
