- Jawa badged scrambler motorcycle spotted
- Looks similar to the Bristol Veloce 500
- Launch details unknown
Jawa badged scrambler motorcycle images have surfaced online. The design of the motorcycle resembles the Bristol Veloce 500. For the uninitiated, Bristol Motorcycles is a two-wheeler brand based out of the Philippines. The brand was launched in 2018 and has vintage, adventure tourer, sports naked, cruiser and dirt bikes in its arsenal.
From the spied images, it can be seen that the scrambler motorcycle gets two colour options. The red coloured bike gets a black seat, while the motorcycle with the green paint scheme gets a tan coloured seat. The Jawa badged scrambler bike carries a circular theme for a few equipment like the headlamp and mirror. It further gets a dual-barrel exhaust, spoke wheels, underbelly pan and a sharp tail section.
The Bristol Veloce 500 in the Philippines is powered by a 471cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 46.9bhp at 8,500rpm and 43Nm at 6,500rpm. All this power and torque is taken to its wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. Meanwhile, for braking, it employs a 300mm dual disc at the front and a 240mm single disc at the rear assisted by dual-channel ABS.
While the images of this scrambler motorcycle have surfaced online, we are yet to know details related to its engine, transmission, launch date and the markets in which this bike will be offered. Meanwhile, in the Indian market, the company as of now offers three motorcycles: Jawa, Jawa Forty-Two and the Perak. The Jawa and the Jawa Forty-Two have just received a major update in the country.
