Classic Legends has updated the colour palette for the Jawa Classic with the introduction of the new options – Khakhi and Midnight Grey. The two new colour options, which commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1971 war victory, feature several cosmetic upgrades. Here we bring you a detailed image gallery of the Jawa Classic Khakhi and Midnight Grey colour options.
The new Khakhi and Midnight Grey colours commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1971 war victory.
The new paint options feature a matte finish and get an all-black theme. The black treatment is visible on the mechanical parts of the motorcycle. These motorcycles also feature blacked-out spoke rims to match the overall theme.
Styling elements include a commemorative emblem on the fuel tank that features the Indian Army insignia flanked by a ‘laurel wreath’ symbolising the 1971 victory.
Similar to the rest of the Jawa product line-up, these motorcycles also benefit from an enhanced seat, retuned suspension and frame setup, a retuned exhaust, and a trip meter.
The changes are limited to cosmetics. The Mechanical specifications, on the other hand, remain unaltered. The BS6-compliant 293cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine produces 27bhp of power and 27.02Nm of peak torque.
Styling cues retain a round headlight at the front, round rear-view mirrors with chrome treatment, a flat saddle, and twin-sided exhausts.
The Jawa Khakhi and the Midnight Grey colour options have been priced at Rs 1,93,357 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new colours will only be available in the dual-channel ABS version.
