Classic Legends have confirmed via their social media accounts that select Jawa dealerships have resumed operations. The dealerships will follow protocol to ensure safety of the employees and visitors. The team at the dealerships have been trained to follow social distancing, hygiene and sanitation protocol. The seven-step safety protocol includes:
- Sanitisation of dealerships, test ride vehicles, display vehicles and service centres
- Thermal screening of employees and visitors
- Appointment based visits and priority support
- Trained staff for social distancing and hygiene protocols
- Digital documentation
- Digital support: via calls, WhatsApp and email
- Doorstep test rides/delivery facilitation
Meanwhile, the company has stopped the Delivery Estimator feature on its website. Classic Legends have stated on their website that the current situation of COVID-19 outbreak has severely impacted its production supply chain.
In other updates, Classic Legends is reportedly gearing up to launch the made-in-India Jawa motorcycles in Europe this year. The Jawa range in the Indian market includes three products – Jawa, Forty-Two and Perak. The Jawa and the Forty-Two are available in two versions – single-channel ABS and dual-channel ABS.
