Classic Legends, the company that sells the Jawa motorcycles in India have finally revealed the fuel efficiency of its bikes. The Jawa standard and the Jawa Forty-Two have an ARAI claimed fuel-efficiency figure of 37.5kmpl.
The company revealed this figure through its official twitter account. This was done as lot of buyers and prospective customers have been trying to know the fuel-efficiency figures of the modern-retro bikes. Both the bikes are powered by the same 293cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that churns out 27bhp and peak torque of 28Nm. While both the bikes gets different styling, that means they are equipped with different cycle parts, the kerb weight of the bikes stands at 170kg. This is why the fuel efficiency of both the bikes are similar.
Classic Legends recently began delivering bikes to its customers, after waiting for a few months. According to the company, the response has been really good for these bikes, however, it refused to reveal the exact booking numbers.
