The Jawa Perak was launched in India a couple of months ago. However, the manufacturer only began accepting bookings for the motorcycle on 1 January 2020.
Now, in a bid to attract more customers, Jawa is offering the Perak with attractive finance schemes. The Perak is available with an option of 100 per cent finance or zero down payment. Jawa is also offering the motorcycle at a low cost EMI option of Rs 6,666. Moreover, the company claims to be offering ‘the best exchange program in the industry upto Rs 5,000 more than any other’.
The Perak is priced at Rs 1.94 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) and offers a unique design inspired by bobber motorcycles from the ‘70s. It gets a lowered stance, chopped front and rear fenders. The highlight of this design is the ‘floating’ seat which gives the Perak a distinctive, hardtail look. It comes powered by a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid cooled engine that churns out 30bhp of power and 31Nm of torque.
In terms of competition, the Perak does not have any direct rivals, Nevertheless,, it competes against the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Benelli Imperiale 400 in the country.
