Classic Legends finally launched a trio of Jawa motorcycles in India. Among the three bikes – Jawa, Forty Two and Perak, the latter is a bobber-styled model. While the Jawa and Forty Two are already up for bookings, the Perak will be available later. Until we get to see it around, let’s gawk at its images in this photo gallery.
The Perak is a pure bobber with an extremely low-slung body and long wheelbase. Although it’s a classic bike, the blacked-out treatment lends it a modern look.
The round headlamp houses a conventional bulb in keeping with the classic theme. The low-hanging bar-end mirrors gel well with the design.
The instrument cluster is a retro-styled round unit consisting of analogue speedometer and fuel guage along with digital trip meter.
The Perak was unveiled in a stunning matte black shade for now, but it might become available in a few more colour options at a later stage.
In order to maintain its minimalistic design, the bike comes with a single seat that is a flying unit. The tail lamp that hangs underneath looks quirky.
Powering the Perak is a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that is good for 30bhp of power and 31Nm of torque.
Braking on the motorcycle is handled by a single disc brake with Bybre calipers on both the ends while ABS comes as a standard fitment.
