Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles is on a roll in 2024. After launching the heavily updated Jawa 350, the Jawa 42 in India, the company plans to launch a new bike on 3 September. They had hinted about the same during the launch of the Jawa 42.
The company is quite tight-lipped about the details of the motorcycle that it intends to launch. However, word is that it could be another modern retro motorcycle from the brand possibly aimed at the Honda CB350 RS.
Which means it could be powered by Jawa 350’s engine. This 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It makes 22.26bhp and 28.1Nm in the Jawa 350. Expect the engine to be tuned to suit the application of the new bike.
Jawa is also likely to come up with a stylish design that shall bear resemblance or inspiration from Jawa motorcycles from the past.
Expect Jawa to price the bike around the Rs 2 lakh to 2.10 lakh mark. Bookings for the new bike will begin post the launch with deliveries commencing shortly after.
