JK Tyre has made its foray into the two-wheeler tyre segment with the launch of its new range, Blaze.
The Blaze range of tyres can be used in both tube-type and tube-less applications for scooters as well as motorcycles. It is available in 14 sizes, these tyres are compatible with a host of two-wheelers ranging from the TVS Scooty Zest to the Royal Enfield Bullet 350. The tyres have been designed to offer superior grip in dry as well as wet conditions, while offering good fuel efficiency. Lower tread rubber shuffling also provides for high tyre life.
JK Tyre is currently the market leader in radial tyres segment for trucks and busses. It acquired Cavendish India Limited in April 2016, which has helped JK Tyre make inroads into the two-wheeler tyre industry. JK Tyre is expecting Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Punjab to be its biggest markets. The company intends to cater 75 per cent to 80 per cent of the two-wheeler tyre replacements in the country.
