Joy e-Bikes which is a sub-division of Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd has revealed the prices of their new Supers e-bikes which start at Rs 2.29 lakh. The company also mentions that it is the first electric vehicle company to be listed on BSE.
The portfolio includes Skyline, Thunderbolt, Hurricane and the Beast. The Skyline and the Thunderbolt are fully faired motorcycles, whereas the Hurricane and the Beast are street naked versions. All these e-bikes use the same 5000 watts DC brushless hub motor which comes with a rated torque output of 230Nm which helps those bikes to achieve a top speed of 90kmph. However, the main difference is in the lithium-ion battery employed on these e-bikes. The Hurricane uses a 54Ah battery which lends it a range of 75kms and charging time of seven hours, whereas the other e-bikes are equipped with a 72Ah battery which lends them a range of 110kms and a charging time of nine hours.
The complete portfolio comes equipped with 17 inch alloy wheels, hydraulic suspension with upside down forks at the front and monoshock at the rear. The braking hardware also remains unchanged where the e-bikes are equipped with dual discs at the front and single disc on the rear. Moreover, the height also remains the same at 1120mm.
The company has a total of 10 electric vehicles in their portfolio and also has a domestic presence in 25+ major cities across India. The company claims to have a running cost of 40 paisa/km for these four motorcycles and the (ex-showroom) prices of Joy e-Bikes Supers are as mentioned below :
