Kawasaki has unveiled the MY2018 updates for the Versys 650, Vulcan S, Z1000, Ninja 1000 and the Versys-X 300. The only updates made to these bikes are new paint schemes.
The Versys 650 has been updated with three new dual-tone paint schemes. It is now available in white/black, green/black and matte green/black. For now, only the second option is available for Indian customers. Its smaller sibling, the Versys-X 300 is offered in two dual-tone paint schemes - green/grey and black/grey.
The litre-class Z1000 is offered in two new paint schemes – green/black and blue/grey. As for its sports-tourer sibling, the Ninja 100, customers have the option of three new colours – black/grey, green/grey and silver/black. The Vulcan S is offered in metallic black and pearl orange. Its retro-styled sibling, the Vulcan S Cafe is available in pearl grey and new decals.
Of these, only the Versys 650, Ninja 1000 and the Z1000 are offered in the Indian market. We can expect Kawasaki to introduce these new paint schemes in India in the next few months.
