Kawasaki Motors has launched the Pulsar 200 NS for the Indonesian market. The motorcycle gets the Kawasaki branding and will be called as Kawasaki Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS. It has been priced at 23.3 million Indonesia Rupiah (Rs 1.33 lakh). The Kawasaki Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS is exported as a completely-built-unit (CBU) to Indonesia from Bajaj’s Chakan facility in Pune.
The Indonesian version of the 200 NS gets the traditional 199.5cc carburetor engine instead of the rumoured fuel injection system. The mill develops 23.5 PS of maximum power and 18.3Nm of torque and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle will compete with the Yamaha Vixion and the Suzuki Inazuma in Indonesia and also gets sporty decals.
