- Kawasaki to increase prices from 1 January 2021
- All street-legal models to get up to Rs 20,000 dearer
- KX and KLX range will not be a part of this hike
Similar to Hero MotoCorp, Kawasaki will increase the prices of most of its offerings in India and the new prices will come into effect from 1 January 2021. The amount of increment varies from Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 depending on the model. Interestingly, only the street-legal offerings are set to become dearer while the competition bikes belonging to the KX and KLX range will not witness any price hike. The old and new prices of the bikes along with the difference is mentioned in the below table.
As can be observed from the table, the least increment of Rs 10,000 will be received by the Kawasaki Z650 and the W800 while the models to receive the highest bump of Rs 20,000 are the Z900 and Versys 1000. Now, on the flip side, Kawasaki has rolled out year-end discounts on select models. Available as vouchers, these discounts can either be redeemed as cash concession or free accessories. The motorcycles which are a part of this bonanza include the W800, Vulcan S, Z650 and the Versys 650. So in case you were planning to bring home one of these Kwackers, the best time is now, before the end of 2020.
