There’s some good news in the offing for those seeking to buy a ER6n. Some of the Kawasaki dealers are offering discounts on the ER6n – the naked model of the Ninja 650. However, the exact percentage of discounts varies from dealers to dealers.
The Japanese manufacturer’s newly appointed Mumbai dealer is offering almost one lakh in discount on the ER6n. The previous pricing was Rs 5.38 lakh, however, with discount the ER6n can be bought for Rs 4.45 lakh on-road. But this pricing is only applicable to Thane, Panvel and Navi Mumbai regions. Prices in Mumbai are, naturally, higher because of payment of octroi.
The dealers in Bengaluru and Delhi too are offering discounts, but they are not as big as the Mumbai dealer’s offers. These dealers are trying to clear their old stocks before the BS-IV norms kick in on April 1, 2017. Sources at Kawasaki however verified that these discounts are not being officially offered by the company. “These are being given by our dealers at their discretion,” they said.
