Kawasaki launched the Eliminator in India just a couple of days ago and this is the second cruiser offering from the Japanese bikemaker after the Vulcan S. It rivals the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 and has an asking price of Rs. 5,62,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). If you plan to purchase one, here is how much it could cost on-road.
The above-mentioned asking price includes the insurance and RTO charges. So, it could vary as per your local dealer as well. As per the above table, the Kawasaki Eliminator’s on-road price is the highest in Navi Mumbai and the lowest in Ahmedabad. The Eliminator is priced comparatively higher than the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650. The latter retails from Rs. 3.63 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) onwards.
Kawasaki has equipped the Eliminator with a 451cc, parallel-twin motor and it develops 49bhp and 38Nm. The engine is linked to a six-speed gearbox and nestled in a trellis frame. The Eliminator’s hardware includes telescopic front forks, dual rear shocks, a single disc at both ends and 18-inch front and 16-inch rear alloy wheels.
Kawasaki offers the Eliminator in a single paint scheme of Metallic Flat Spark Black. It features full LED illumination and a digital console with smartphone connectivity. The latter gives you access to call and SMS alerts once paired with your phone via Bluetooth.
