Kawasaki has launched the Eliminator in India with a price tag of Rs 5,62,000 (ex-showroom). Being a cruiser-style motorcycle, it will go up against the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 in the country. That said, bookings for the Kawasaki Eliminator have already begun and deliveries are expected to take place soon.
Now, the Eliminator borrows majority of its components from the Ninja 400 that is on sale in India. It comes powered by a 451cc, parallel-twin engine with 49bhp and 38Nm on offer. Underpinning the motorcycle is a steel trellis frame made specifically for the cruiser. Well, the Eliminator rides on an 18/16-inch alloy wheel combinator with telescopic forks and a pair of shocks at the rear.
Meanwhile the braking setup includes a single disc at both ends with dual-channel ABS. The seat height of the Kawasaki Eliminator is accessible at 735mm and should be easy for shorter riders as well. Having said that, the kerb weight is low at 176kg while the ground clearance stands at 150mm.
As for features, the Kawasaki Eliminator comes with LED lighting for the headlamp and tail lamp as well as a circular LCD screen and dual-channel ABS as standard. The brand is offering the motorcycle in one colour option only called Metallic Flat Black.
