Kawasaki has recalled its famous Z900 streetfighter in India. The company hasn’t disclosed the number of bikes affected as of now.
As per the Japanese manufacturer, there’s an issue with the tie-rod bracket of the rear mono suspension. In case the suspension bottoms out, the holes in the tie-rod frame mounts could be damaged that will hamper the suspension functions. This might lead to the overall handling and operation of the motorcycle.
Kawasaki India will start contacting the affected customers soon. The affected customers will need to get their Z900 to the nearest service centre for inspection. The company will fix this issue free of cost.
